New level, new sem, new feel!

Ytd was the first day of my 1st year advance diploma! I feel tat we've all grown up into adults.. and stepping up into a whole level.. Lecture hours and practicals hours all have increased..Everyday is like 9-4pm wif little break.. Its going to be a hectic sem.. The worst thing was that every lecturer that came in informed us that their subject is one of the hardest~! :S

After our exam which was during the end of April, we had this 'farewell dinner' for our diploma batch.. We had dinner at Kim gary, den headed off to ruums to club.. We took many pictures.. INCLUDING THIS ~~~ o.ONuuuu~~ ky pls dun kiss me~~ hahaha (We're jus fooling around.. no CONTACT de =P)

Its a long story

On 5th May I went to Pangkor wif Hui shan and Ivy. They are my secondary school zi muis. Pangkor is really a deserted island.. We had our private beach, private pool, private car and a almost private hotel... We went around the whole island and I tink we did not see more than a 100 tourists on that tiny island.. definitely no leng zais for ivy.. hahaha... but hui shan managed to entertain us by calling the lalas as leng zais.. At nite we piu yi the whole island.... During dinner there was a sudden black out.. the whole island suddenly poof! turned pitch black.. we finished our 'candle light' dinner n had a drive around the island... we sang as loud as we could in the car coz the mountain roads had no street lamps, even there were lamps there were no electricity to power them.. haha

20th MAY! THIS WAS WHEN THE TERROR STARTEd
Day 1-20/5/08
We rode off at 8.05am from Medan Gopeng station.. I was 5 minutes late =P Reached KL at approximately 10am... Just at the exit to turn into 1 utama i got banged/i banged a gen2 . The driver came down his car... n asked me.. " where r u from ? go where?" i said im frm ipoh going 1u.. he said... What 1u? whats tat? Then i pointed.. NEHH THIS BUILDING... swt...His driver's door bengkok dalam.. my car's front passenger door bengkok dalam also.. so We both decided to go to a mechanic n check out the price.. Mechanic asked for like 600+ o.O In my head i was thinking.. ' GO DIE LA... 600 can buy u a whole door lo'.. Therefore it was time to launch a police report! We headed off to a nearby damansara police station.. the fellow told us we nid to go sg buloh's traffic police station to report this.. SO WE WENT ALL THE WAY TO SG BULOH thru trunk roads , overtake-ed many many big lorries.. Finally when we reached there i tot this time sure its the correct one.. but the basket told me that they don't cover the area we had the accident.. so asked us to go to PJ's police station woH!! omg.. And yes, we drove there... took us another 30 minutes to reach... passed by subang jaya airport on the way tim.. 2 hours spent at the PJ police station.. got interviewed by a sargent ... first time.. everything also first time..
Took this b4 we left..
When we left the police station.. it was already 3pm+ !!

Of course we wouldnt wanna giv up our ORIGINAL plan which was to shop+walk at 1u+ meet dear BEH zi mui.. so we headed off to oneU following the long route thru bangsar >.<.. REACHED SEGI COLLEGE (hs needed to sign some docs) at 4smth.. JAM JAM JAM ALL THE wAY~~~ was freaking frustrating... Reached oneU at 5smth worh!!! IMAGINE... 8-5pm highway ipoh-kl, car accident, 3 police stations , JAMs all the way, and no food or stops along the way.. It was certainly a horrible day for us..

We met up wif Ah Beh at 1u... at which the original plan was 2pm.. >.<

That night..My room was packed wif ppl... first time so many :D We sang songs out loud to get rid of the stress we had .. Ivan reached my condo at 1am+

The nex day... Sing K at Neway Times square 1-5pm It was fun!

We had J-co donuts after sing K... They tasted great as usual.. Then we went for the Drillbit Taylor movie.. It was a hilarious movie overall but i almost fell aslp at the middle.. ehhe

No proper food.. 3 meals a day , all outside food ( friends came over to kl to visit)

23/5/08

9.30pm : 1 low fat yogurt

Oh btw i went to carefour to grab 'some' groceries today.. turned out that my bill was rm90++ .. i bought one person's share of food only.. wao that was alot XD

The Scrumptious Dinner

Had a finger licking gud seafood dinner at falim/menglembu area (well i licked my fingers after digging into the crabs :D) just now... The food was good! But prices were even better~~


Yea it costed us a 100..

Well for ipoh it was considered quite expensive, considering there were 5 of us, 4 dishes and we did not leave the place wif a full stomach...

Hmm since today nth much to write.. I'll share some of my 'research' that i 'stole' frm the web :D
6 Tips of having + maintaining flat,sexy abs (means no bulging tummies LIKE THIS )


Seriously I DONT think its BEAUTIFULLL-This person must have sky high confidence within herself ( shud b a SHE right?lol.)

If i have a tummy like that I think I'll change sex .. HAHA >.< sry if i offended any1...

Ab Diet Tip 1. Eat more fiber
According to the 'experts', we nid to eat at least 25 grams of fiber daily to ditch the flabby abs! However, do nt take in alot of fiber in one go, u'll end up accumulating gas in ur stomach and farting all ur way throughout the day =P This is because the bacteria that digests the fiber releases gases that are 'to be farted out' .

Ab Diet Tip 2. Opt for a sensible amount of high-quality carbs.(carbohydrates)
In other words, don't eat so much carbs! For exp, make carbs 45-65% (202-292) grams based on a 1800 calorie diet. I found out another easier way to keep track based on another website is to consume 1g of carb to every pound u weigh. ( 110pounds=110g carbs).
Warning!
*Extensive intake of carbs can cause water retention, bloating + temp. weight gain! This is because when the carbs are broken down into glucose -> glycogen for storage, each glycogen carries along 3 times of its own weight as water!
Balance ur diet! Adequate amount of carb would be the best. FYI, Veges + fruits supply carbs too!

Ab diet tip 3. Drink up!
Many ppl including almost all my girl frens bliv that drinking too much water will cause bloating. Namun begitu, drinking MORE water actually flushes sodium(salt) out of the body which reduces the bloat. FYI, sodium is actually the culprit that causes all the unwanted bloats. Drink at least 1L-2L of water PER DAY. Btw, fruit juices are high in calories/carbs and they are a nono for 'dieters'. Carbonated drinks that contain CO2 slows down stomach emptying therefore induces bloating.

Ab diet tip 4. Watch the sodium.
Roughly 1 teaspoon of salt per day is enuf for our bodies to function properly. Anymore extra will cause bloating.

Ab diet tip 5. Eat light at night.
2 benefits : You'll wake up with a flatter tummy, and you'll also have a better appetite for a fiber-rich breakfast, which sets you up for a day of healthful eating. Best way is to eat 5 times a day which is 2 more extra meals in between ur 3 main meals. By staying full and energized, you'll avoid hunger pangs, maintain an even energy flow, make better, healthier food choices (no binging or craving) and enjoy the most efficient burning of calories.

Ab diet tip 6. Reduce stress.
Research shows that stress triggers the hormone cortisol to turn up your appetite and deposit fat around the organs in your abdomen. So kesimpulannya, dont work or study so hard LAh! =P just kidding k..

Pro Go-cart racing!

I bought a new pair of specs today at Ipoh Parade :D Kinda got bored of my old 1.. hehe.. i love this new one! :)

However, the highlight of the day was observing Pro Go-cart racing!!! My bro's Myvi enthusiasts gang came down ipoh all the way frm Penang to have some kick tonite..

Many of them were already experienced race car drivers that drove b4 at Sepang, so go-carts werent a problem at ALL!! They sapu corners without any hesitation or fear, and speeded their way thru the full 10 laps.. The owner had 4 slower go-carts and 2 high powered ones..

THE CRAZY ITCH

Ahhhh!!! A BAD BAD DAY for me!

Part 1:
I drove all the way to fair park to get my hair dyed this morning. Now this was when all hell breaks out!( Lol sounds like I'm exaggerating ) This woman in black kissed the back-side of my car! It was actually a soft and tender kiss frm outside but inside it felt more than it! So i flung my door open hoping that my car is in gud shape... and it was! :D Ok... sounds happy? My story goes on..

Part 2:
Nth really bad happened during the process of dyeing my hair, other than the CRAZY ITCH tat i've never felt b4 when dyeing hair. The lady brushed so much dye on my head like it was water.. I hate the part tat i couldnt scratch ,i do not want to get the dye on my hands T.T .. SO I tahan-ed it for an hour or so .. - super unexplainable feeling

Part 3:
After washing away the extra dye and blowing dry my hair, i requested the lady to trim my front hair ABIT.. she ended up OVERDOING it >.< Its soooo shorttt nowww... wuwuwu


Part 4:
OK... DEn, i left the saloon, and headed off to 'myPoint' (restaurant) near Jusco. The prob is i did not noe how to go! ( ipoh girl woh >.<) I seldom go there.. End up i went rounds n rounds all the way to silibin, den to medan gopeng area... HAHA! ipoh ppl, after reading this u'll say i suck in direction.. Took me around an hour to reach mypoint.. omg...

My point is that MyPoint is a v nice place! (haha) (except for the irritating blue light) My dad was the first one who brought me there.. den i visited the place over n over again after that... The food is nice,cheap and served in big portions..


Lamb chopssssss

They serve in okay-to-large portions. A set lunch which comprises of soup + toast, main course, coffee/tea, ice-cream and a gls of sky juice :D IS ONLY RM11!! The first time i got the bill i had my eyes almost popping out and a very very big opened mouth...
Btw, they have quite a large menu... consisting of a variety of lamb chops, chicken chops, pork chops, beef steaks and pastas.

1.30pm : fish fillet + toast + soup + tea + half a scoop of ice cream

6.30pm : some Broccoli and chicken

8.30pm : some beans and bayam (dad dabao back)

No exercise today.. Whole day stomach cramp T.T

HIIT+ workout + diet training

But strong Determination and WILL will bring me towards my GOAL! Yeahh.. I noe I've failed many times (ppl who noe me well will say YES YES YES!) .. BUT! This time its different! I've beneficially spent my holiday free time to do lots of research on9 about losing weight n burning fat the correct n healthy way! Actually do u noe what had 'inspired' me into all these hardcore training? Ok, lemme spill the beans.. After eating like a maniac in my Penang + Pangkor trip, I've gained a total of 4KG!! I was like, WAD THE HECK? It totally struck my mind ! In my head, I was thinking, what are u doing Tracey?? This cant be true? STOP EATING LIKE A COW! How are u going to find a leng zai? Lol.. So that was it ..

I started my HIIT training on 12/5/08 with a face like this before i went for my first jog
(HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training-Sprint->jog->sprint->jog)
Happy face!


But when I came back I was like this

Because HIIT was killing! I died before i reach the 10 minute mark T.T


Okay, so here's the plan. I'm going to post my daily diet + workout here to keep track and prevent me from slacking :D Dear friends who read this n c me slacking please slap me! (not in public la hehe)

However, first of all, like what we study in mgmt, Planning is the first step! We need to plan our goals and missions in order to achieve them. No goals = achieve what?

Here are my Long-term Goals

  1. Reach 48kg BEFORE my birthday (31st aug)
  1. Reduce at least 45cm BEFORE birthday
  1. Can maintain the weight, diet and workouts throughout my life

Here are my Short-term goals

  1. Reach 55kg by 1st of June(tis is my usual weight)
  1. Thigh(top) reduce by 4cm by 1st of June
  1. Leg (both) reduce by 2cm by 1st of June
  1. Waist reduceby1 inch by 1st of June
  1. Tummy reduce by 1.5inch by 1st of June
PS:I will post my before and after stats AFTER I have finished this training which is in 4 months time

I take 5-6 meals a day which are low carb, low cal, low fat but high in proteins, fibre and some other nutrients :)

Lets start of with my first day! 12/5/08

8am : chee cheong fun

1.45pm : tuna wholemeal bread x3

4.00pm : Apple

6.00pm : jog (HIIT)

6.56pm : 1 slice of tuna sandwich

8.00pm : 2 slices of tuna sandwich

8.30pm : 1 plate of vege (da bao)

13/5/08

10.30am : Campbell soup with 2 slices of wholemeal bread

1.00pm : vege n 1 mouthful of rice at grandma’s hse

4.00pm : 2 packets of Jacobs high fibre biscuits

6.00pm : jog at polo ground + sit ups 15/10/10, leg stretch 10secs/10secs, push ups 15/10/10

6.45pm : apple bubble tea + 2 mouths of 100 plus

7.30pm : vege + 2 pieces of meat ( without skin ) + 1 mouthful of rice

14/5/08

11.00am : Milo with 5 square biscuits

2pm : 1 slice of egg sandwich

5.00pm : 1 pear n 1 slice of egg sandwich

7.30pm : 2 mouth fulls of rice + beans + some fish

12.00am : some smashed eggs

No workouts for today coz whole body ache caused by ytd’s training

15/5/08

11.00am : 2 slices of egg sandwich

2pm : 1 bowl of Campbell soup

4pm : 2 packets of Jacobs high calorie biscuits

7pm : 2 slices of egg sandwich

9pm : An apple

10pm : some broccoli and chicken breast

Did some leg exercises + step ups .. No jog coz whole body still aching

( will increase my food intake when im back in kl.. now not enuf resources in ipoh =P)
